What is the impact of the black or evil magic and What is the ruling on going to the black or evil magic?

How would black or evil magic affect and impact people, though it is only possible to affect them without the Permission of Allah, the Almighty?

Is it permissible for me to seek help from a [so-called] Sheikh [who claims that he could help people under the influence of black or evil magic] to ask him if there are someone who harmed me [i.e. with a black or evil magic action]?

Answer:

Quran referred to the fact that black or evil magic may affect some people. It may affect the one who is done for, by the permission of Allah [of course], as stated in Quran 2:102-103.

A magician or a black or evil magic doer is an immoral, harmful and unfortunate person.

Practicing magic is a dangerous activity. It contradicts faith in Allah. it might lead to the state of disbelief.

Black or evil magic may separate between two people, a husband and wife, or harm innocent people. All of this is disliked.

A Muslim must always protect himself by having strong relations with His Creator; Allah, the Almighty and by uttering supplications on a regular basis.

Harm could only affect people by the Permission of Allah, the Almighty. Therefore, we must entrust Allah with all our affairs and have confidence in Him. there is nothing to harm us without His knowledge and Permission. Beware of this.  Quran al-Hadid 22, al-Takweer 29, al-Qamar 49, al-Muddather 56, and TaHa 66.

Magic could be an imposition of illusions on the eyes of people to make them see virtual things and unreal things as if they are real.

Such practices either scare people or else make them hate someone or dislike him. [Allah knows best]

A believing Muslim must always be alert and aware of His Creator; Allah, the Almighty, entrust Allah with all of his affairs, rely on Him and fortify himself with all authenticated supplications from Quran  and authenticated Sunnah, practices and traditions.
